About Oak View Holiday Park
Oak View Holiday Park is a scenic campsite situated in the Garden of England in the small village of Detling in Kent. We accommodate caravans and motorhomes on both hard surfaces and grass surfaces with electric hook-up; and tents on grass with the option to have an electric hook-up. Surrounded by fully grown woodlands with trail walks throughout, the park offers the serenity you need with enough attractions, places of interest, pubs, bars and restaurants nearby to keep you entertained. We have designated quiet hours between 22:00 and 08:00 hours for everyone’s comfort.
We are in the process of trialling electric meters, the cost of the pitch gives you £5 worth of electric per day
Our 80 pitches with high spec facilities will ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible and is now open all year. Our recently built reception block has superbly built male, female and disabled toilets and shower facilities, which are regularly maintained for cleanliness and freshness. We know that camping or touring can be a family affair and have a range of facilities to accommodate you from baby change areas, a fully working laundry building along with a pet shower area for those four-legged members of the family. Our team are friendly and welcoming and look forward to helping you out during your stay whether its helping navigate around the holiday park itself or advising on local things to do.

At busy and peak times the park has the following minimum night’s stay policy Bank holiday = minimum 3 nights stay /1 April – 31 September = minimum 2 nights stay
Dogs are welcome to come and stay at the park but we ask that whilst on the park grounds they are kept on a lead and that all fouling be cleaned up after your pet. There is an additional charge of £1.00 per night per dog.
Yes! Camping in our opinion is not camping without that BBQ smell! All BBQ’s must be raised off of the ground and any hot remains are left over night to cool before being disposed of in correct refuse stations. Fire pits and wood burning stoves are not permitted.
Standard check in time is from 13:00 – 18:00 Hours. Should you require an earlier or later check in please call our friendly team where we will be as accommodating as possible.
Check out time for all pitches is 11:00 hours. Should you require a later check out time please call our friendly team where we will be as accommodating as possible, but this may incur an extra charge.
Pitch sizes are: hardstanding approx. 7m x 4m, grass pitches approx. 7m x 6m (LxW).
Yes! We welcome guests to invite visitors to the park. Casual visitors will incur a surcharge of £2.00 per day
All of our electric designated pitches are supplied with a 10amp electrical connection
